About Us

Porthedlanddirectory Online is an independent casino affiliate site created by Australian-focused editors and researchers to help adult players compare online casinos more clearly. We publish evidence-led reviews, explain important terms and promotions, and disclose that we may earn commissions when readers use some links; our rankings are not sold to operators. Our responsible gambling guidance points readers to official Australian support, including the free National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858 and BetStop, the national self-exclusion register.

Our Mission and Editorial Independence

Porthedlanddirectory Online is dedicated to offering practical and transparent information about online casinos to adult players in Australia. Our editorial independence is paramount; we ensure that our reviews and ratings are uninfluenced by commercial partnerships, implementing clear affiliate disclosures, maintaining a strict separation between advertising and content, and adhering to a policy that forbids accepting payment for favorable ratings.

Our Review Methodology

  • Casinos are selected based on a thorough analysis of available licensing information to ensure that all reviewed sites operate within legal frameworks.
  • The editorial team conducts extensive testing of each casino's website, evaluating payment methods, game variety, bonus offerings, and customer support responsiveness.
  • Reviews are regularly updated to reflect changes in material terms, ownership, licensing details, or player conditions to maintain accuracy and reliability.

How We Rate Casinos

  • Casinos are evaluated using a comprehensive scoring framework that assigns weighted scores across multiple criteria.
  • Key factors in our assessments include safety and licensing, game selection, bonus terms, payment options, withdrawal performance, usability, customer support, and availability of responsible gambling tools.
  • Scores are comparative editorial assessments reflecting quality and reliability, not guarantees of winnings or endorsements of every offer.

Our Responsible Gambling Commitment

  • Porthedlanddirectory Online is dedicated to promoting responsible gambling as a form of entertainment, ensuring our users enjoy a safe gaming experience.
  • We support age guidance, only allowing individuals aged 18 and over to participate, and provide tools such as deposit limits, time limits, and reality checks to help manage betting habits.
  • Users can access resources like Gambling Help Online and the National Gambling Helpline for support and information. For those seeking to take a break, we recommend BetStop, a free service for self-exclusion from licensed Australian wagering providers, with options ranging from three months to a lifetime.
